http://www.offroadtuff.com/LightStays.htm).
Hello,
This email refers to order number xxxxx which was placed on December 9 2007.
This order was for a set of IPF 900XSD lights. According to ARB's web
site these come with a set of "Light Stays" which were missing. I
apologize for the 1 month delay before contacting you about this but I
only realized they were missing when we got the point of installing them
this morning.
Is there something we can do about this ?
Thank You.
Leur réponse.
Hi Eric,
I have read ARB's website description of the IPF 900XS and according to the
contents description you are correct...With that said I personally have sold
the IPF brand of lights for about 8 years and I have never seen any of the
IPF lights include the light stays...I believe this is because they will
only work in certain applications...no need to include a part that many will
not use...I would have to speculate and say that this is a typo on their
website...
If you are interested in receiving a set of light stays since their site
lists them in the kit contents...I would have to recommend contacting ARB
regarding these as there is nothing I can do to provide them to you, this is
a mistake on part of the Manufacturer and will have to be addressed by
them...

)
Hello,
I recently bought a set of IPF 900XS lights from on online retailer called "4x4 Connection" (
http://www.4x4connection.com). According to the product description on your web site this set comes with a pair of Light Stays but they were missing in my package. I contacted the seller about that and their answer is that they've been selling the IPF brand of lights for about 8 years and that they have never seen any of the IPF lights include the light stays. They seem to believe that they are not included because they will only work in certain applications, that there is no need to include a part that most people will not use and that this is probably an error on your web site.
I would like to know if I was indeed supposed to get them and, if not (which is not really an issue for me anyway) I think your webmaster should fix that in the product description.
Thank You.

Hello Eric,
Thank you for your inquiry.
I apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. The 900XS lights do not come with lights stays, they are an optional accessory typically used in racing applications.
I have looked through both our North American site (
www.arbusa.com) and our Australian site (
www.arb.com.au) and am unable to locate any information that suggests that light stays are included. Would you be able to tell me where you located this information or send me the link for the page? I would like to have this information removed as soon as possible to avoid any further confusion.
Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention and any assistance that you might be able to provide in locating the misinformation would be greatly appreciated.
I hope that you enjoy your lights.
Regards,
Ma réponse.
Hello Lisa,
You will find it on the american web site.
From the main page select "Lights"
Then "Driving/Fog lights and HID"
Click on the link to see more info for the 2nd model displayed, it's the XTreme Sport Series. Check the last line of the "Complete kit includes" section. I pasted that section below.
Complete kit includes
- 2 lights with weatherproof connectors
- Complete snap together wiring loom & relay
- Mouse style LED switch
- Robust black brush guards on 900XS
- White protective covers on 800XS
- Light stays
Here's a direct link to that web document.
http://www.arbusa.com/IPF_Driving_Lights/2.htmI am very surprised that ARB USA never had any feedback on this because most of the online retailers I've checked when I was shopping for mine say that light stays are included. You can look at these if you'd like.

Et finalement la réponse à ça.
Eric,
This is very interesting. That line happens not to come up on my view, the data stops at the white protective covers. Likewise the content just happens to be cut off after the dimensions on other page that also mentions the lights stays. How unlikely.
It seems to be a Mac/PC discrepancy. It shows on a PC but not on a Mac (which the marketing department both here and at headquarters use as we prefer them for designing our catalogs and advertisements, etc.)
I’m not surprised that this information would be listed on my distributor sites as most of them copy our site for content but interestingly enough – you’re the first person to voice this discrepancy in the 13 months that this information has been online.
I have sent through a request to headquarters, where they manage the site, and have requested that this information be removed immediately. And further, I’ve set my marketing assistant with the task firing up one of our PCs and reviewing our entire site through new eyes to ensure that there are no other mistakes.
Again, I apologize for this embarrassing oversight and thank you for bringing it to my attention. It will be remedied immediately.
